Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract; hours may vary by assignment but typically follow 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license in Oregon At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Proven critical thinking and emergency response skills Comfortable with electronic medical records; proficient with computers Strong teaching and patient education skills Reliable and punctual attendance
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care in the OR in accordance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope of practice Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and interdisciplinary teams Accurately document all patient care and interventions Respond efficiently to intraoperative emergencies
