1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR/CVOR position requiring at least 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience and active Oregon RN licensure. Details Work in the Operating Room of Surgery at an acute care hospital facility Serves a broad patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients Cardiac surgical and procedural sedation cases; works with a variety of provider specialties Supports both same-day discharge and inpatient admission cases Day shift with varied scheduling and rotating weekends 13-week contract Requirements Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand Valid OR RN license required Current certifications required: BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care setting Minimum 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience required ICU experience preferred Scrubbing experience preferred Additional Information Provide circulating RN care for cardiac surgery and procedural sedation patients This facility strictly enforces all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for experience, certifications, or required skills All required certifications must be current and in hand prior to consideration
