JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Provides safe, quality nursing care under the direction of Samaritan Health Services practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor for patients within scope of practice. Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Samaritan Lincoln City Clinic provides primary health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine providers, with a focus on compassion, dignity and respect. The health care team may include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician associates, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants and other clinic staff members working together to help patients maintain the best possible health. They encourage and offer preventive care including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Experience or training with computer applications preferred.
