Locum Tenens Oncology Physician Near Eugene, OR We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist for a locum tenens position near Eugene, OR. Day shifts with call requirements

Shift Schedule :

8-hour days Call schedule: 1:4, including one weekend per month (primarily handling critical lab calls)

Workload :

10-15 patients per day in a free-standing cancer center

Hospital and Practice Setting:

Outpatient Cancer Center (no inpatient consults)

Infusion Room :

19-chair infusion room with onsite mixing pharmacy

Support Staff :

Nurse navigation, collegial nurse infusion team, radiation oncology onsite

Specialty Services Available :

Cardiology Radiology Oncology Emergency care Surgical care (including bariatrics and robotics) Critical care Inpatient psychiatry Wound care with hyperbaric medicine Pediatrics, OB, and home health

EMR :

Epic Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care Collaborate with the infusion team to ensure high-quality treatment Participate in critical lab calls on a 1:4 rotation Participate in clinical trials and collaborate with other specialists in the center Embrace a community-focused healthcare model, working with vulnerable populations

Requirements:

Board Certification :

Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (Board Eligible within 2 years of fellowship)

State License :

Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain

Certifications :

BLS required

Experience :

Radiation oncology experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply
