Registered Nurse (RN) - In Home Care Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - In Home Care Company Sunshine In Home Care Job Type On Call/Part Time Flexible Scheduling Job Summary Sunshine In Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing in-home care team. The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing client care, conducting nursing medication assessments, supervising caregivers who perform delegated tasks and medication services, ensuring compliance with Oregon home care regulations, and supporting clients in maintaining independence and safety within their homes. The RN works closely with caregivers, clients, family members, physicians, and agency leadership to provide high-quality in-home services while maintaining professional standards of care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Complete initial nursing medication assessments and ongoing client evaluations Perform skilled nursing tasks within RN scope of practice Supervise and support caregivers and direct care staff Conduct caregiver training, competency evaluations, and skills observations Monitor client condition changes and communicate concerns to physicians and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Oregon regulations Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities Assist with medication management and delegation as allowed by Oregon rules Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary care coordination Respond to client and caregiver concerns professionally and promptly Assist with admissions, reassessments, and service coordination Always maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance May participate in rotating on-call support as assigned Qualifications Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum one (1) year nursing experience preferred Home care, hospice, or community health experience preferred Knowledge of Oregon in-home care regulations preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Current CPR certification Ability to pass criminal background check and any required state screenings Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods Ability to travel between client homes and office locations Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Benefits Flexible Scheduling Supportive Team Environment Paid Time Off (for eligible employees) Health Benefits (if applicable) Opportunity for Professional Growth Why Join Us?
