Join our small, independent, family-owned practice in Gresham, Oregon, just a few blocks from Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center. We're looking for a kind, enthusiastic Pediatrician, Family Practice Physician (MD/DO), or Family Nurse Practitioner, who wants more than just a job - but wants to be part of a supportive, happy, and fun team that includes 9 Providers plus a robust Management team and ancillary staff. We practice thoughtful, evidence-based medicine. We truly take the time to care for our kids and families. Our staff is incredible - they take great care of our patients and of us and laughter rings through the office every day. From Frozen-treat Fridays with our ice cream machine to our spa-style massage chair and ocean-themed office, it's genuinely a great place to work. We believe strongly in balance. Our clinicians work four days a week, with one closing shift per week (until 7pm) and one partial day on Saturday every 4-6 weeks. We use AthenaHealth for our EHR and Phreesia for our patient check-in and communication system. Call averages 1:6 and is handled within our own group. We don't do pediatric admissions, because our patients are cared for at two excellent children's hospitals in Portland, if hospitalization is needed. We welcome babies born at several local hospitals, and we care for healthy newborns delivered at Legacy Mt. Hood. The Family Birth Center has skilled nurse resuscitators and a direct connection to the NICU for high-risk deliveries. If newborns remain at the hospital, we continue their care. We also value curiosity and growth. Through our sister research company, we actively participate in a range of FDA clinical trials. The number and type of studies vary based on community need and demand, with research spanning vaccines, acne, asthma, nutrition, ADHD, and new rapid test devices. We pride ourselves in being a teaching clinic and welcome students from all health study fields including veterinary, chiropractic, and naturopathic medicine.
