1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN for a day-shift position in the Hood River, OR area requiring both Oregon and Washington licensure and skilled home health experience. Details Home health setting serving Hood River, OR and surrounding areas Caseload of up to 6 patients per day on a 1:1 basis (30 productivity points standard) Day shift schedule, 8-hour days (5x8); 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated No weekend requirement No on-call requirement Charting is completed via Epic Remote Client (laptop) and Rover phone app using OASIS documentation Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Requirements Active OR and WA RN licenses required — both must be in hand Minimum 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience required Current BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required OASIS documentation experience required Must have reliable personal transportation Primary
COVID-19
vaccination series plus at least one booster required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Service area involves occasional drives of up to 60 miles (approximately 60-90 minutes total drive time) per day; the facility groups clients to minimize windshield time Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed (no specific color) but jeans are not permitted Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50-75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the submitting facility Minimal RTO is preferred; any RTO requests should be addressed prior to submission First-time travelers are welcome to apply
