13 Weeks We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in John Day, Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled nurse dedicated to providing high-quality maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will support patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities Monitor laboring patients and assess maternal and fetal conditions Assist physicians and healthcare providers during deliveries Provide postpartum nursing care and newborn support Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed Educate patients and families regarding labor, recovery, and newborn care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Respond appropriately to patient condition changes and emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines Support a compassionate and patient-centered care environment Requirements Active RN License required Labor & Delivery experience required Current BLS Certification required ACLS and NRP certifications preferred Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment Compassionate and patient-focused approach to maternal and newborn care For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
