1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital in Oregon, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. Details Emergency Department (ER) in a 59-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital Variable evening and night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts) Evening shift: 2:00 PM - 2:30 AM; Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Patient ratio of 1:4 Every other weekend required, with occasional back-to-back weekends (rare) No block scheduling required Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state Charts using Epic EMR Requirements Active Oregon (OR) RN license required Minimum 2 years of ER/emergency department RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Active BLS certification required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are provided for ED staff No parking fees at this facility Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility RTO requests should be minimal; any time-off needs must be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
