$65/hourly Mandatory Qualifications for This Job Active and unrestricted Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License required at the time of submission Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) Nursing experience Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification Experience with
EPIC EMR/EHR
system preferred Strong clinical assessment, triage, and emergency response skills Ability to care for adult, pediatric, trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health patients CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification preferred Roles and Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and critical medical conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care through effective triage Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions according to physician orders Respond rapidly to trauma, cardiac, stroke, respiratory, and other life-threatening emergencies Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS personnel, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Care for pediatric, adult, geriatric, and behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department Utilize evidence-based nursing practices to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes Accurately document patient care activities within the EPIC electronic medical record system Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and patient confidentiality requirements Participate in emergency preparedness activities and quality improvement initiatives Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency environment #EmergencyRoomNurse #ERRN #EDRN #RegisteredNurse #TravelNurse #RNJobs #EmergencyNursing #TraumaNurse #CriticalCare #ACLS #BLS #PALS #TNCC #EPICEMR #HealthcareJobs #HospitalRN #PatientCare #TravelRN #OregonRN #HiringNow#
