7:00 PM•7:30
AM Experience:
24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years. Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Local & travel allowed. COVID vaccination required after submission. Special Requests:
Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Holiday requirement is negotiable.

Common diagnoses/patient population:
CHF, diabetic complications and diabetic wounds, bacterial and viral pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, hip fractures, COVID-19, post-op TURPs, hip and knee replacements, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and occasional general pediatric patients. Infrequent titration of Heparin and Bumex drips. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and Meditech. Telemetry is monitored by CCU staff, and the tele board is visible to med-surg staff.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend. If placed on low census, expected to report within 30 minutes of call.
Floating Requirements:
RNs not fully cross-trained to other departments are expected to assist if floating as helping hands. May elect to fully cross-train to other departments.
