Job Description

Overview Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (Travel) position in Portland, Oregon.
Start date:
06/01/2026.
Assignment length:
13 weeks.
Weekly pay:
$2,297-$2,354 per week.
Shift:
Days, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week), 4 days per week.
Setting:
hospital-based endoscopy program. This is a travel - temporary assignment managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Setting:
Hospital endoscopy service Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter and support Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, following the nursing process and established standards of care Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures; manage peri-procedural sedation under supervision and in coordination with the anesthesia team Administer medications as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions and ensure patient safety Prepare and assist with endoscopic procedures; maintain sterile technique and infection control practices Monitor the recovery area, determine discharge readiness, and provide patient and family education on post-procedure care Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across shifts; collaborate with gastroenterology, anesthesia, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care Requirements Active RN license in Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred; ADN acceptable) BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Endoscopy or GI/nursing experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy suite and participate in a 4x10 day shift schedule Demonstrated ability to work independently, with critical thinking and sound clinical judgment Benefits and Support Assignment support from a dedicated travel recruiter Credentialing coordination to facilitate onboarding On-call clinical support and ongoing assignment assistance Access to nationwide travel opportunities through the staffing network Orientation and onboarding resources to prepare for the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
