1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active Oregon RN license. Details Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 38-bed acute care hospital Patient care includes labor, postpartum, antepartum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn care Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Every other weekend work required Some holiday coverage required Floating within the unit and across the health system is required — refusal to float may result in contract cancellation Charting is performed in Epic Parking is free in any unrestricted space 13-week minimum contract length Requirements Active Oregon (OR) RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of Oregon license application and fingerprints Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted Additional Information Scrubs are provided for L&D; all other units require any solid color All assigned education must be completed within the first week of the assignment Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility — local candidates are not accepted Approved PTO must be finalized prior to consideration; no PTO in the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of PTO per assignment First-time travelers are welcome to apply
