RN/LPN Private Duty Nurse - Allentown, PA Fridays | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Adult Case Extended Family Care is a leading in-home healthcare service provider. We are currently looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a private duty case in Allentown, PA . This case involves care for a 33-year-old patient with seizures, asthma, and precautions . The home has one dog and one cat . Schedule Fridays 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Responsibilities Our Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, support families, and coordinate care with physicians and other caregivers.

Essential duties include:

Obtaining patient medical history related to the current condition Performing physical assessments to identify patient needs Evaluating the patient's home situation and care needs Following and maintaining the patient's plan of care Monitoring changes in condition and reporting updates to the physician Evaluating care plan effectiveness and recommending revisions when needed Coordinating with other active caregivers Performing other assigned nursing duties Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania Experience with seizure precautions and asthma care preferred Reliable, compassionate, and attentive Comfortable working in a home with pets Whether you are seeking part-time or full-time work, Extended Family Care would like to hear from you.
