We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience caring for post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients and other high-acuity cardiac patients. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, monitoring hemodynamic status, administering medications, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team.Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiac surgery patients. Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered. Manage and monitor ventilators, chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, and other critical care equipment. Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. RN01Required Qualifications:
2 years of recent CVICU experience Active Pennsylvania RN License or Compact RN License. BLS Certification (AHA) ACLS Certification (AHA)NIHSS Application Process:
