Job Description
This is a travel assignment for an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) at a 35-room Level II Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI Certified facility. The position features unique rotating shifts (changing every 4 to 6 weeks) and manages a combined adult and pediatric patient population with an average daily census of 30. No floating is required for ED nurses in this role.

Shift & Hours:
3x12 ROTATING Deliver high-acuity care to a diverse age spectrum (neonates through geriatrics) presenting with critical conditions, including gunshot wounds, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, STEMI, acute psychosis, and multisystem organ failure. Manage advanced emergency procedures such as arterial/central line care, ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management, continuous IV paralytics/vasopressors, and procedural sedation monitoring. Document all patient encounters and interventions using the Cerner EMR system.
Job Requirements:
2 years of emergency nursing experience. Community hospital experience is required, and Level I or Level II Trauma experience is highly preferred. Former permanent or per diem employees of this healthcare network must be separated for at least 18 months to be eligible as a traveler. Must have a valid Pennsylvania (PA) or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Core Certifications:
BLS (CPR), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are strictly required.
