Contract Duration:

Long Term Shift timings: Shift times are a rotation of 07:00 - 15:30 and 13:00 - 21:30 and includes weekend and holiday rotation. Job Summary Provide professional nursing/medical services at a secure, residential treatment facility for adjudicated youth. The RN will supplement existing staff and deliver direct clinical care, ensuring the health and safety of all residents. Key Responsibilities Adhere to facility, agency, and policy procedures Provide direct nursing care and make appropriate referrals Administer first aid and follow medical, dental, and psychiatric orders Triage and treat residents with illness or injury symptoms Develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, monitor reactions, and record vitals Collect specimens, provide immunizations, and perform screenings Coordinate appointments and transportation for off-site care Maintain accurate resident and staff medical records Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with staff and healthcare practitioners Uphold professional boundaries and ethical behavior Follow safety and security protocols Maintain regular attendance and timeliness Comply with Pennsylvania Professional Nurse Law Transcribe and follow prescriber orders, escalating safety concerns Complete Juvenile Justice Academy training (86 hours) Qualifications / Requirements Current RN license in Pennsylvania Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Knowledge of nursing procedures, emergency care, and medication administration Effective verbal and written communication skills.
