Paid days off to support work-life balance 401K with company match to plan for your financial future Paid federal holidays to enjoy with family and friends Essential Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN license without adverse actions (Pennsylvania or Compact State license required) Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Fluency in English (spoken and written) Ability to provide verifiable education, training, and employment history Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office product Additional training may be required. Position Summary In this role, you may serve as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or assessment cordinator—delivering nursing care and treatment to individuals with mental or physical injuries, illnesses, dysfunctional behaviors, or developmental disabilities at a Commonwealth facility.
Responsibilities include:
Directing and coordinating nursing care for patients or residents, often during evening or night shifts Supervising paraprofessional and non-professional nursing staff Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans Providing professional nursing care, specialty care (e.g., infection control), and participating in quality improvement activities Maintaining accurate documentation and following established nursing standards Nurses must demonstrate competency in a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to: airway management, IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, vital signs, emergency response, and use of electronic medical records.
