Interim Wound Care Nurse RN

We're looking for an RN with wound care experience to commit to a 30-day contract at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The RN is responsible for assisting with direct patient care related to wounds within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC). You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team as well as the resident or responsible party to develop an individualized, patient-centered plan of care. A stipend is defined as a weekly, untaxed sum of money to pay for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidental expenses. This puts you in control of your own money! Job Duties Collaborate with healthcare team to develop personalized care plans for residents Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families Maintaining accurate patient records Taking and monitoring vital signs Administering medications Assessing and monitoring wounds Assist with common types of complexities, such as ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic foot wounds, and skin tears Educating residents and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care Providing companionship and comfort to all residents Job Requirements/Qualifications At least one year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting (skilled nursing facility, assisted living, etc.) as a Registered Nurse Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State Wound Care Certification (WCC) preferred but not required Possess empathy and passion for serving others Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members Up-to-date certifications/compliance: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA) Two-step TB test Physical exam within the last 12 months Benefits Weekly Pay & Direct Deposit W2 Employee Status 401(k) Retirement Plan Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Licensure Reimbursement Referral Bonuses Dedicated Support Team Referral Bonuses If you have a friend or family member who would be interested in joining LeaderStat, you could earn some cash!
