  • Mon-Fri No weekends or holidays AMS Cardiology is a large cardiology practice located in Horsham, PA and we are looking for a full-time Cardiac Pacemaker Device Specialist to join our growing team.
The Cardiac Pacemaker Device Specialist (RN) will work with a team of Advanced Practice Providers and cardiologists performing clinical activities related to assessments and evaluations as well as diagnostic and therapeutic tasks for patients ranging in ages from 16 to 100. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Responsibilities of a
Cardiac Pacemaker Device Specialist:
  • Monitor patients undergoing treadmill stress tests and echo stress tests.
  • Remotely monitor patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. -Analyze and interpret EGMs.
  • Interrogate pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. -Test and analyze devices for proper pacemaker and implantable defibrillator function. -Analyze heart rate and rhythm diagnostic data and present information to the patient's cardiologist.
  • Provide the physicians with accurate data to help provide optimal care for the patient.
  • Analyze 24/48-hour holter monitors for final interpretation by the physician.
  • Efficiency in 12-lead ECG interpretation.
  • Answer phone calls troubleshooting issues with pacemakers/defibrillators.
  • Educate patients and families regarding device function.
  • Ensure correct billing, coding and documentation of device interrogations.
  • Review CardioMEMs HF system diagnostics and relay findings to cardiologist.
Requirements of a
Cardiac Pacemaker Device Specialist:
  • CPR and ACLS certifications and 1 year cardiology experience required.
  • CCT certification preferred.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2013 Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • High level of professionalism with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An enthusiastic and trustworthy team player.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment, working both collaboratively and independently, to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
