Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN)

Company Overview The Lutheran Home at Kane is a dedicated 90-bed skilled nursing facility located in Kane, PA. Our mission is to provide superior nursing care to our residents in a safe and welcoming environment. Summary We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient support, ensuring our residents receive excellent care. We are hiring for a 4am to 4pm or 4pm to 4am weekend warrior shift, working every weekend and alternating Mondays and Fridays. This position works 36 hours a week but is paid for 40.

Job Requirements:

Possess a current license in PA Possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application Be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution Maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly Have awareness of cost containment, utilize time fully, and properly care for equipment Possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives Utilize good communication and observation skills Previous nursing home experience preferred but not required.
