- Ambulatory Surgery CenterClinic Contract 6-Week Contract Assignment | Day Shift | Extension Opportunities Available Central Pennsylvania | Competitive Weekly Pay | Monday-Friday | First Shift Hours | No Nights | Initial 6-Week Contract with Potential for Additional Extensions NurSelect is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a short-term contract assignment supporting a busy outpatient specialty practice and ambulatory surgery center. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for a flexible contract position with the potential to extend into future assignments. Position Overview These nurses will support both clinic and procedural areas, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, communicating with providers and patients, and utilizing EMR systems for documentation. Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and care plans Facilitate patient care both in-person and via telephone triage Communicate treatment plans, lab results, imaging results, and physician instructions to patients Administer medications and treatments as ordered Assist providers with examinations and office-based procedures Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment Perform patient education and discharge teaching Review patient histories, medications, and diagnostic testing Coordinate surgical scheduling, pre-operative preparation, and required clearances Perform nursing procedures including: o Catheterizations o Venipuncture and blood draws o Urinalysis o Medication administration o Patient assessments and monitoring Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report changes in condition Maintain accurate EMR documentation Follow HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety protocols Qualifications Required Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN License Current BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills EMR experience Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting Preferred Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience Outpatient clinic experience Procedural nursing experience ACLS Certification ScheduleContract Details Initial 6-week contract assignment Monday-Friday, First Shift No nights, weekends, or on-call requirements Potential to extend into additional contract assignments based on performance and client needs Immediate start opportunities available Why Work With NurSelect?
