RNAC/MDS
Coordinator We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
RNAC/MDS
Coordinator to join a reputable healthcare organization, within a state-of-the-art Retirement Community! In this important role, you will be responsible for coordinating the Resident Assessment Protocols and overseeing the Medicare and Medicaid documentation process to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care and support optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive interdisciplinary assessments in accordance with federal regulations Oversee the completion and accuracy of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to facilitate care planning Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory standards and internal policies Support care teams with accurate care plans and progress notes Maintain compliance with CMS, state, and local guidelines
Compensation:
$80,000 - $100,000/yr + Sign on Bonus and Extensive, very generous benefit package!
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Minimum of two years' experience with MDS and long-term care assessments Familiarity with the MDS 3.0 process and federal healthcare regulations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with restorative nursing programs Knowledge of compliance and audit procedures Prior experience working in a skilled nursing or senior living environment
