Overview Pay Rate:
Starting at $40/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday rotating 6:30am-3:00pm and 7:30am-4:00pm as needed

Malvern, PA If you're a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric care, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Surgery Center! Join our team where we prioritize exceptional patient care and offer a nurturing environment for our team. As an RN with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing Pre-Op and PACU nursing care to our young patients in our ambulatory surgical center. Your duties will include supervising both direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operative Coordinate all aspects of nursing care with pre-operative team to achieve defined patient outcomes Works closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative period Provide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stay Assisting patients recovering from anesthesia Assessing the patient's health status and previous medical history Provide appropriate education to the patient's family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recovery Qualifications Graduate of accredited School of Nursing At least one year of experience as an RN preferred Previous experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plus Ability to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start date Current Pennsylvania RN License What We Offer We believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
