Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides on-call nursing care to the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (P.R.T.F.). Essential Functions of the
Position:
1. Provides basic medical care to clients in the program making recommendations for more advanced care if necessary. 2. Properly document medical records for each P.R.T.F. client. 3. Provides guidance to staff in special medical conditions affecting the at-risk youth population. 4. Maintains various documents as required by regulations and agency policies. 5. Provides guidance to staff regarding medical conditions/situations involving clients. 6. Rotates on-call duty with other nursing staff as needed to maintain a 24/7 availability for consultation regarding medical situations involving clients. 7. Ability to fill-in for Director of Medical Services as needed. Advanced notice will be provided for any scheduled vacation time. 8. Monitors and/or dispenses medication in accordance with the doctor's orders as needed.

$28.00 per hour
