What You Will Do:
Provide compassionate weekend support and hospice nursing care to patients and families Perform emergent visits and admissions as directed by the hospice triage nurse Complete scheduled visits for transitioning hospice patients Assess patient needs with a focus on pain management and symptom control Communicate significant findings, changes in condition, and patient concerns to physicians, the on-call Administrator, and interdisciplinary team members Obtain physician orders as needed Support patients and families with empathy, professionalism, and clinical excellence

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN license and valid driver's license 1-2 years of recent hospice experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Basic math proficiency
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods Capable of lifting, positioning, and transferring patients Able to lift supplies and equipment Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching Adequate visual acuity and hearing to perform nursing duties safely and effectively Equal Opportunity Employer Bridges Hospice is an equal opportunity employer.
