Duties Organizes and/or participates in agency health fairs Provides health education programs Interacts with agency contacts to include meeting attendance Supervises other staff Orders medical and office supplies for the health unit Performs health unit Quality Assurance Assessments for the health unit Orients new staff Schedules PRN nurses for backfill Ability to respond to emergencies Provide emergency care Provides non-emergency care Provides immunizations Maintains a high level of professional responsibility and performance Keeps abreast of all pertinent SSA policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified Adheres to all SSA policies Ensures that all health unit staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs The essential duties as listed above are not all inclusive and other functions may be added dependent upon certain situations.

Minimum Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:

Requires computer program proficiency in data entry, use of e-mail, excel spreadsheets and word programs Requires ability to push a wheelchair and/or carry emergency bag up and down several flights of stairs in response to emergencies Requires ability to provide emergency care, administer CPR/AED on the floor/ground

Minimum Education Requirements/Certification/Licensure:

RN Licensure CPR and AED certification Minimum of 2 years' experience in occupational health or related experience such as public health/community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing or physician office Minimum of 1 year management experience Ability to pass SSA security clearance requirements

Schedule:

FTE (8) hours per day-(7:00am-3:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm)
