Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN)
Summer Camp Location:
Scranton, PA Overview:
Our summer camp is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support the health, safety, and well-being of campers and staff throughout the season. This full-time seasonal role provides hands-on pediatric and community health experience in an engaging camp environment while delivering care and health education.
Position Offers:
Full-time seasonal position Generous pay with private on-site housing provided Meals included throughout employment Opportunity to bring child(ren) to camp at no cost One scheduled day off per week On-call rotation every 3 4 nights for emergencies Valuable pediatric and community health experience
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and oversee treatment schedules Provide first aid and respond to illnesses and injuries Assess and monitor the health status of campers and staff Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Support camp-wide health, safety, and wellness initiatives Educate campers and staff on health and wellness practices Manage medical supplies and inventory
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania Current CPR and First Aid certification Experience administering medications and providing general nursing care Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Pediatric, school, or camp nursing experience preferred
