Dialysis The Professional Staff Nurse II, BSN is a Registered Nurse responsible for setting care standards and ensuring high-quality nursing care. They manage patient care for a group of patients and their families, using independent judgment and collaborating with the care team. This role involves leadership, partnership, and supervision, while maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes. Education & Experience Responsibilities:
Use the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care to create a healing environment, set care goals, and address patients' clinical, social, and emotional needs. Participate in quality improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing patient satisfaction and care. Apply evidence-based practices to improve clinical care and patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with the care team and document patient information clearly. Build productive relationships with colleagues and patients, promoting teamwork, accountability, and work-life balance. Identify safety hazards and contribute to a positive work environment. Take responsibility for professional development, engage in unit-based goal setting, and support care team needs. Adapt to change and contribute to improving patient care and the practice environment. Apply adult learning principles in patient and family education, and support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues through mentorship and feedback.
