Substitute Nurses:
Brentwood Borough School District Pittsburgh, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22665144 Summary Pittsburgh, PA In-Person $16.00 - $25.00 per Hour 1 Years Experience Vocational/Technical Certificate No Commission 8.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description Substitute Nurses Needed for Brentwood Borough School District and the 2026-2027 School Year! These are day-to-day substitute positions filling in for the school nurse(s) or occasionally providing extra help with athletics physicals and documentation. Prefer candidates flexible enough to work at any of the schools in the district, however, we offer a lot of freedom and flexibility with scheduling: as long as the openings are available, you choose if you can and want to work that particular absence or opening. If the candidate is already working, either full-time or part-time, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidate's schedule.
For example:
we've had candidates fill in only once or twice a month as their hospital schedule allowed. If the candidate is looking for more work than what is available at Brentwwod, we suggest including other nearby districts as they also need substitute nurses, including West Mifflin Area, West Jefferson Hills and South Allegheny.
Nurses:
$16-$25 per hour, depending on the district Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126/31 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances? Additional Requirements:
Must have valid RN license. "School Nurse" certifrication is not required..
