Per HR Summary:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in overnight care in Reading, PA. This contract position requires providing professional nursing care with empathy and professionalism. The role involves working night shifts from 07:00pm to 07:30am, including every other weekend, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
Requirements:
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patient health needs and developing nursing care plans. Maintain medical records and educate patients and families on health conditions. Ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, and procedures. Accurately transcribe and follow physician's orders. Document patient status and significant changes effectively. Administer medications and document controlled substances accurately. Complete admission and discharge processes efficiently.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license as required by the state. CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required. First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements. One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
