Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license Minimum of one year of recent Telemetry (RN-Tele) experience, preferably in a hospital setting Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
Monitor, interpret, and record cardiac rhythms for patients requiring telemetry care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders Provide compassionate, patient-focused care while educating patients and families Respond swiftly and effectively to changes in patient status Adhere to evidence-based practices and facility policies to ensure the highest standard of care
