Conduct random patient record reviews for documentation compliance. Perform audits to ensure adherence to home health care regulations. Assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care services. Engage in quality assurance activities for infection control, incident reports, and corporate compliance. Respond to Additional Development Requests (ADRs) from CMS and other audits. Manage Medicare appeal requests, including reconsiderations and hearings. Assist in developing and updating the agency's emergency preparedness plan and training. Support new staff orientation on Medicare requirements and documentation standards.
