Substitute Nurses:
West Mifflin Area School District West Mifflin, PA 5 DAYS AGO 22672561 Summary West Mifflin, PA In-Person $25.00 - $25.00 per Hour 1 Months Experience Vocational/Technical Certificate No Commission 16.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description Substitute Nurses Needed for West Mifflin Area School District and the 2026-2027 School Year! Precision HR Solutions is partnered with the West Mifflin Area School District and searching for "Substitute Nurses." The day-to-day substitute nurse positions will be filling in for the school nurse(s) or occasionally providing extra help with athletics physicals and documentation. Prefer candidates flexible enough to work at any of the schools in the district, however, we offer a lot of freedom and flexibility with scheduling: as long as the openings are available, you choose if you can and want to work that particular absence or opening. If the candidate is already working, either full-time or part-time, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidate's schedule.
For example:
we've had candidates fill in only once or twice a month as their hospital schedule allowed.
Day-to-day Substitute School Nurses:
$25/hr Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126/31 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances? Additional Requirements:
Must have valid RN license. "School Nurse" certification is not required, however, should a vacancy open in the district where a candidate may be under consideration for a full-time position, the candidate may be required to obtain the "School Nurse" certification.
