Job Description

Job Overview The Wyncote Care Center is hiring Registered nurses to Join our warm caring team! Formerly known as Phoebe Wyncote We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing specialties, but a focus on care for our residents Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor vital signs and perform necessary interventions to stabilize patients. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Utilize Athenahealth software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments. Participate in emergency response protocols as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols. Proficiency in ventilating techniques and respiratory support. Experience working in urgent care settings with diverse patient populations. Familiarity with managing medical records effectively and securely. Ability to provide care in a Level II Trauma Center environment. Understanding of acute pain management techniques and interventions. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred. Competence in using CT imaging technology as part of diagnostic procedures.
