Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a specialized long-term care (LTC) facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida, and other neuromuscular disorders. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by delivering personalized, high-quality nursing care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents with neuromuscular disorders, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor residents' health status, recognize changes or complications, and respond promptly to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate residents and their families about condition management, medication use, and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided, assessments, and resident progress.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.

Sign Up Incentives Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid and current RN license in PA
  • Proven experience in long-term care, neurology, or related healthcare settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of neuromuscular disorders and associated care needs.
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
