Full-time (On-site / Hybrid) We're working with a respected healthcare organization in St. Petersburg seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide advanced clinical care in prevention, treatment, and ongoing management of complex infectious and chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community health, infectious disease prevention, or specialty outpatient care. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment management. Deliver preventive care services, counseling, and medication management for at-risk populations. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized treatment plans. Maintain thorough documentation in electronic health records and ensure compliance with care protocols. Participate in continuing education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Current Florida APRN license in good standing. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (or equivalent). Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in infectious disease, primary care, or prevention programs. Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and case-management skills. Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and sensitive health topics. Preferred Certification or training through a recognized professional organization such as the American Academy of AAHIV Medicine (AAHIVM) or comparable infectious disease credentialing body. Experience with prevention and treatment protocols in community or outpatient settings. Familiarity with public health initiatives, medication adherence programs, or risk-reduction counseling.
