Job Description
Summary The Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse is responsible for the clinical management and triage of patients with implantable cardiac devices in a centralized remote monitoring program. This is a temporary, short-term interim role created to provide coverage during a transition period while a permanent hire is identified. The expected duration is approximately 4-6 weeks . Requirements Active RN license from the state of Missouri , or a valid multistate compact license permitting practice in Missouri Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cardiac electrophysiology , device clinic , or telemetry monitoring Strong proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation Experience with implantable cardiac devices (including pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders) and remote monitoring Ability to independently triage alerts , prioritize patient safety, and follow established protocols Experience interpreting ECG and device data to identify arrhythmias and urgent clinical conditions Responsibilities Review, triage, and document alerts from implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders) Analyze ECG and device data to identify arrhythmias and urgent clinical conditions Escalate critical findings to physicians based on established protocols Perform cardiac triage assessments and determine appropriate next steps for patients Communicate directly with electrophysiology physicians to align on care plans Manage and monitor incoming transmissions across remote monitoring platforms Provide patient education regarding symptoms and device alerts Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record ( NextGen preferred ) Interpret telemetry/ECG data to identify cardiac arrhythmias Coordinate the care response when emergent conditions are identified Benefits 100% remote role Temporary assignment (approximately 4-6 weeks) providing short-term coverage support during a transition period #Li-LG1
