In this vital role, you will leverage your extensive clinical experience to educate, mentor, and prepare future caregivers for the demanding yet rewarding field of home care. Your expertise will ensure that trainees develop the critical skills necessary to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to all regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the quality of home health services through effective training and development. Duties Develop, plan, and deliver engaging instructional sessions on patient care techniques, medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and HIPAA compliance Evaluate trainee progress through assessments, practical demonstrations, and written examinations to ensure competency in core skills Provide hands-on supervision during clinical practice scenarios in simulated or real-world settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of trainee attendance, performance evaluations, and competency milestones Stay current with evolving healthcare regulations and best practices to continuously update training materials and ensure compliance with industry standards Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and professional growth among trainees Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify training needs and tailor educational content accordingly Requirements Valid RN license with current registration in good standing At least 6 months experience supervising CHHAs Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care procedures Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Prior experience in training & development or adult education is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about healthcare advancements Join us as a CHHA Instructor (RN) to shape the next generation of compassionate caregivers!
