Competency Review Nurse (RN) - Contract / PRN Atlas Community Care Fargo, ND Job Details Contract $52 - $56 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel RN License Care documentation Schedule management Home care Clinical documentation Training & development Full Job Description About the Role Atlas Community Care is a Medicaid-funded family caregiver agency expanding into North Dakota. We're seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to perform caregiver competency reviews on a flexible, per-visit contract basis. This is an excellent fit for an RN who wants independent, scheduled work with minimal overhead. What You'll Do Our caregivers receive a training workbook from Atlas and complete it on their own prior to meeting with you.
Your role is to:
Meet with the caregiver after they have completed the workbook Review the completed workbook with the caregiver Have the caregiver demonstrate the required skills and competencies on North Dakota form SFN 749 (Documentation of Competency - Agency QSP - Employee) Sign off on the SFN 749 and return the completed form to Atlas Community Care Workbook Development (Additional Paid Work) We are also seeking your clinical expertise to help develop the caregiver training workbook that caregivers complete before their competency review. This development work is compensated at the same hourly rate. Travel & Mileage Atlas reimburses mileage for travel beyond 15 miles (one-way) to meet caregivers, at the current IRS standard mileage rate. Trips within 15 miles are not separately reimbursed. Requirements Active, unrestricted North Dakota RN license (in good standing) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to meet caregivers Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Comfortable with basic documentation and timely form submission Previous experience in home care or PCA services is a plus Previous experience with caregiver competency reviews and SFN 749 (or similar competency evaluation/development) is a plus
