Competitive Hourly or Project Rate Position Overview SRK Care at Home is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant to assist with Maryland Home Care Agency licensing, Medicaid enrollment, policy and procedure review, caregiver competency requirements, and clinical compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with Maryland home care agencies and a strong understanding of Maryland Department of Health (MDH), Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ), and Medicaid requirements. ResponsibilitiesLicensing & Compliance Support Assist with Maryland Home Care Agency licensing requirements. Review and provide guidance on policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Maryland Department of Health regulations. Assist with survey preparation and regulatory readiness. Support quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Clinical Oversight Review clinical forms, assessments, and care plan templates. Develop caregiver competency and supervisory processes. Assist with HHA/CNA orientation and training requirements. Provide recommendations for clinical documentation standards. Medicaid Enrollment Support Assist with Medicaid provider enrollment requirements. Help establish processes that meet Medicaid standards. Provide guidance regarding waiver and community-based service programs. Staff Training & Consultation Provide training and consultation to agency leadership. Assist in developing caregiver education materials. Recommend best practices for home care operations. Qualifications Active Maryland RN License. Minimum 3 years of Home Care, Home Health, or Medicaid program experience. Experience with Maryland Medicaid enrollment and compliance requirements. Familiarity with Maryland OHCQ licensing standards. Experience preparing agencies for licensing inspections and audits. Strong policy review and clinical documentation skills. Excellent communication and consulting abilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience helping agencies obtain Maryland Home Care Agency licenses. Experience with Medicaid Waiver Programs and Community-Based Services. Accreditation experience (CHAP, ACHC, or Joint Commission). Prior Director of Nursing or Clinical Supervisor experience.
