Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Contracted Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty units. As a Contracted RN, you will leverage your extensive nursing expertise to deliver compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology evaluation, and medical history review to determine appropriate care plans. Provide expert nursing care in various settings such as ICU, Emergency Room, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Geriatrics, Behavioral Health, and Medical-Surgical units. Manage acute care needs by coordinating diagnostic evaluations, medication administration, and post-acute discharge planning to ensure seamless patient transitions. Perform detailed documentation of medical records, including patient intake forms, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams on case management initiatives focused on utilization management, discharge planning, and patient service optimization. Monitor and interpret diagnostic results; adjust care strategies accordingly while maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection control practices. Assist in outpatient clinic procedures and managed care activities by conducting patient assessments and supporting primary care initiatives. Experience Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level II/Level I Trauma Centers with a strong understanding of trauma protocols and emergency medicine procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in hospital medicine, medical-surgical nursing, behavioral health settings, or outpatient clinics with a focus on patient assessment and acute care management. Hands-on experience in specialized areas including PICU, Geriatrics, Infectious Disease Care, OR experience, or post-acute care environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology principles, and diagnostic evaluation techniques essential for accurate case management. Familiarity with hospital experience requirements such as inpatient/outpatient workflows, discharge planning processes, and utilization management strategies. Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical scenarios while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards and medical records protocols.
