Field Registered Nurse (RN) The Progress Place - 3.3 Norcross, GA Job Details Travel nursing $50 - $55 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork Electronic health records (EHR) management Computer literacy Driver's License Working with children Case management Organizational skills Computer skills Patient charting Full Job Description The Progress Place The Progress Place is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team as a Field Nurse. This position supports children, adolescents, adults, and families receiving behavioral health services throughout the community and through telehealth services. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and experienced in community-based care and passionate about improving client outcomes through education, coordination, and Clinical support.
Position Details:
Position Title:
Field Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM - 7:00
PM Required:
One Saturday per month, 10:00 AM - 2:00
PM Weekly Hours:
Approximately 32 hours per week
Compensation:
$55.00 per hour
Work Environment:
50% Community-Based/In Office 50%
Telehealth Services Position Summary:
The Field RN will provide nursing support, health education, medication monitoring, care coordination, and clinical collaboration for clients receiving behavioral and mental health services. Services may be provided in the office, community settings, client homes, schools, or through secure telehealth platforms. The RN will work closely with clinical staff, psychiatric providers, care coordinators, and Leadership to support quality care, client stability, and improved health outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct nursing assessments and monitor client health status Support medication education, compliance, and monitoring. Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, therapists, case managers, and external medical providers Assist with crisis support and safety planning when clinically appropriate Provide health education to clients and families Document services accurately and promptly within the electronic medical record system Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical collaboration Monitor and report changes in client condition or concerns Maintain compliance with Medicaid, DBHDD, HIPAA, and organizational standards Support telehealth appointments and virtual client engagement Travel within assigned service areas as needed Assist with obtaining labs, follow-up care, and medical coordination when applicable
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred Experience in behavioral health, community health, psychiatry, or case management preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services Basic computer and electronic documentation skills required
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families Knowledge of behavioral health and psychiatric medications Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills Experience with community-based service delivery

Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have prior experience working as a field nurse providing services within clients' homes?
