insertion Patient interaction Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in IV/Infusion to join our healthcare team to administer treatments in an infusion suite and in patient's homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and infusion therapy, demonstrating expertise in various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, ensuring high-quality care while adhering to best practices and safety protocols. Responsibilities Administer IV infusions and manage infusion therapies for patients with varied medical conditions. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current health status. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, and self-care strategies. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion treatments and respond appropriately. Assist with triage and emergency interventions as needed. Utilize EMR systems effectively for documentation and patient management. Provide support in various clinical settings including outpatient clinics and home care environments. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience in nursing with a focus on IV infusion therapy. Familiarity with EMR systems, AloraPlus preferred. Proficiency in performing procedures such as venipuncture, catheterization, and lab specimen collection and transportation.
