Job Description

Overview Care Remedy Inc. is seeking a compassionate and experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support the supervision, training, and quality oversight of our Home Health Aides (HHAs), caregivers, and direct care staff. This is a highly flexible, part-time role ideal for a nurse seeking supplemental hours while making a meaningful impact in home care. The RN will conduct caregiver supervision, client assessments, staff training, and occasional client visits to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for seniors and individuals with disabilities in home and community settings. This is a per diem position , and hours may vary based on need, typically 1-5 hours per week initially , with opportunities for additional hours as the company grows. Responsibilities Supervise and oversee Home Health Aides (HHAs), caregivers, and direct care staff to ensure quality care and compliance Conduct nursing supervisory visits and caregiver competency assessments in clients' homes Meet with new and existing clients to assess care needs and support care planning Train caregivers and HHAs on: Personal care and ADL support Infection control and safety practices Proper documentation and professionalism Dementia care and senior support CPR, emergency response, and caregiver best practices Monitor quality of care and provide coaching, feedback, and support to caregiving staff Review and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company standards and HIPAA Collaborate with the Care Team to support client well-being and service quality Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Experience in home care, senior care, home health, or community-based care preferred Experience supervising caregivers, HHAs, or direct support staff is highly preferred Strong communication, leadership, and training skills Comfortable conducting home visits and working independently CPR certification required Schedule & Compensation Per diem / flexible schedule Typically 1-5 hours per week to start , depending on client and staffing needs Paid only for hours worked Opportunity for additional hours and overtime as Care Remedy continues to grow Flexible scheduling ideal for nurses seeking supplemental income Join a growing, mission-driven healthcare team dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently in their communities.
