Job Description

We are a growing, locally focused hospice agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care. Our team is committed to excellence in patient care and clinical documentation, and we are looking for an experienced RN to support our quality assurance efforts as we continue to expand. We are seeking a detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with hospice experience to join our team in a part-time Quality Assurance (QA) role. This position focuses on reviewing hospice documentation for accuracy, compliance, and quality to ensure adherence to regulatory and agency standards. This is currently an office-based role with the potential to transition to remote work in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Review hospice clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Ensure documentation meets Medicare, regulatory, and agency standards Provide feedback and guidance to clinicians to improve documentation quality Identify trends and areas for improvement in clinical documentation Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff to support quality initiatives Assist with audit preparation and ongoing quality monitoring
Qualifications:
Active RN license (required) Hospice experience (required) Strong knowledge of hospice documentation and regulatory requirements Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
