- Provide both direct and telehealth nursing care which includes, but is not limited to, triage and education to patients and families.
Pre-operative teaching, counseling, and assisting in informed consent for orthopedic surgical procedures. Post-operative telephone consultations. Assist with a variety of procedures and tasks to maintain patient flow in clinic and provide nursing support to assistive staff as needed. Assist with on-boarding of new staff members Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic Candidate must be able to perform duties independently, be highly motivated and flexible in order to address the needs of patients, families and members of the health care team. - Current license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan (RN).
Two (2) years, within the past 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse providing care to adult orthopedic patients

- BSN Ambulatory care experience Experience, including but not limited to, with ortho injury wrapping, wound assessment, and clinical nursing skills Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations.
Recent (in the past 3 years) tele-health management skills Demonstrated excellence in communication skills; both verbal and written. Demonstrated customer service skills and ability with conflict management skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, prioritize duties, multi-task and problem solve with minimal supervision. Demonstrated flexibility in accepting changing clinical assignments on short notice.
