Job Description

Registered Nurse
MED SURG
Travel Portsmouth, NH 13 weeks Shift - 1st Shift (07:00 to 19:00) This Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit during the day shift. The role involves delivering patient-centered care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes. Core Responsibilities Provide direct patient care consistent with medical-surgical unit protocols and standards. Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in clinical status. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and implement patient care plans. Utilize appropriate equipment and technology to support patient care and monitoring. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications Current and valid RN licensure must be in hand at time of submission. BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
