Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse provides expert clinical guidance and consultation to improve service delivery, establish standards, and develop training programs. This role involves evaluating clinical practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering strategic recommendations for client care, particularly for adults with disabilities in residential and community-based settings. The Registered Nurse collaborates with leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external partners to enhance nursing and healthcare operations as directed/guided by their direct supervisor. Qualifications Be at least 21 years of age A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is required Licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Minimum of 5 years in a role providing guidance and direction on standards or clinical practices Experience working with adults with disabilities in residential or community-based settings is strongly preferred Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed A valid driver's license and a driving record that allows the candidate to be covered by a company insurance policy Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide array of individuals Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze and address clinical challenges Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage project assignments and consultation requests effectively Maintain a respectful relationship with clients and employees of residential facilities Knowledge of technology sufficient to use company computer hardware and software, web-based technology, and handheld devices While performing the duties of this job, the Registered Nurse is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The Registered Nurse is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. The Registered Nurse must be able to perform physical tasks associated with nursing assessments and training sessions.
Job Duties Clinical Consultation and Guidance:
The Registered Nurse will provide expert clinical advice to enhance service delivery, standards, and training programs. They will offer recommendations for policy, procedures, and client care/behavioral plans. The Registered Nurse will evaluate and assess clinical practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines. The Registered Nurse will conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement in client care and safety.
Policy and Procedure Development:
The Registered Nurse will maintain compliance with existing policies and procedures and recommend the development of new policies as needed. The Registered Nurse will participate in developing and revising client care and training protocols.
Training and Development:
The Registered Nurse will provide clinical guidance, assistance, and training to program staff and supervisors. The Registered Nurse will develop and deliver training content to promote excellence in service delivery.
Strategic Consultation and Compliance:
The Registered Nurse will participate in accreditation processes and regulatory compliance efforts. The Registered Nurse will provide strategic recommendations for critical incidents and client care challenges. The Registered Nurse will stay current on industry trends to offer up-to-date recommendations.
Collaboration and Communication:
The Registered Nurse will collaborate with Program Supervisors and leadership to understand client and program needs. The Registered Nurse will communicate with medical professionals to coordinate care, medical orders, and physician instructions. The Registered Nurse will act as a liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners to promote best practices. The Registered Nurse acts as a professional representative of the company.

$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
