Certification RN experience Driver's License Basic life support Full Job Description Job Overview TrufaMED, a Joint Commission accredited urgent care and concierge medicine practice in Surfside, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem, on-call basis for our Mobile IV Therapy service. This is a specialized role focused on delivering in-home and in-hotel IV therapy to patients across Miami-Dade County, with additional support in our Surfside clinic during designated on-call windows. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in IV access, polished in patient interaction, and comfortable working independently in a boutique clinical setting. Base rate of $30/hour with additional on-call and per-visit compensation structures. Duties Perform IV insertion and administer physician-ordered IV therapy protocols, including hydration, vitamin infusions, NAD+, immune support, and recovery formulations Travel to patient residences, hotels, and private locations across Miami-Dade County for scheduled mobile IV appointments Conduct pre-treatment patient assessments, including vital signs, allergy review, and clinical screening before each infusion Monitor patients during and after infusion for adverse reactions, document responses, and escalate concerns to the supervising physician Maintain strict aseptic technique, infection control standards, and compliance with TrufaMED clinical protocols Provide in-office nursing support during on-call shifts when patient volume requires additional coverage Educate patients on IV therapy, wellness panels, concierge services, and recovery expectations Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record for every visit Adhere to Joint Commission, CLIA, and HIPAA standards across all clinical activities Represent TrufaMED with professionalism, discretion, and excellent communication in every patient setting Skills Active Florida RN license in good standing Demonstrated excellence in IV insertion across a range of patient profiles, including difficult sticks, dehydrated patients, and elderly veins Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with strong preference for backgrounds in IV therapy, infusion suites, ER, urgent care, aesthetics, or concierge medicine BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to operate independently in unsupervised mobile settings Excellent patient communication and a polished, professional presence appropriate for private home and hotel visits Comfortable with electronic medical records, mobile scheduling systems, and digital documentation Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license required for mobile IV component Knowledge of infection control, aseptic technique, sharps and biohazard handling Spanish language fluency preferred but not required Compensation $30/hour base rate for in-office and mobile clinical work Additional on-call stipend during scheduled on-call windows Per-visit pay structure for completed mobile IV appointments Holiday premium pay on designated holidays Compensation details reviewed in detail during the interview process Schedule Per diem with a defined monthly on-call commitment On-call shifts run 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with one weekend day and one weekday per month required Additional in-office and mobile shifts available based on patient volume and your availability About the Setting TrufaMED operates an on-site moderate-complexity CLIA laboratory, digital X-ray, EKG, IV therapy suite, and a concierge membership program.
